Muscle aches and stress can trigger daily headaches that lead to depression. You may suffer from headaches if you have depression as an underlying condition. According to the National Headache Foundation, secondary headaches caused by depression tend to be tension headaches.

Studies have shown TMS transcranial magnetic stimulation to alleviate migraine headaches. Consult with a neurologist before starting TMS treatment.
